Some more #foodporn coming at you! Bacon double cheeseburger and smoked pork belly! (Without Bread)
Oh my, it was so delicious!
As most of my readers and subscribers know, I eat pretty much carnivore, a few vegetables and a little bit of sauce here and there and the rest is all meat! You can read this post here if you want to see why I eat carnivore.
So when I make burgers like these, I just make my self some chaffles in place of the bread or bun.
What is a chaffle?
A chaffle is just a waffle made of cheese and eggs. <— Before you click away in horror and disgust, let me insist that THIS IS DELICIOUS and you really will have no idea that you’re eating cheesy eggs.
Chaffle Recipe:
It’s just shredded cheese and eggs. 1 egg and 1/3 cup shredded cheese for 2 Chaffles. Scramble up the eggs and cheese together and then you make them in a waffle maker.
Simple to make, takes minutes!
You can use any shredded cheese you want.
Shredded mozzarella is better for making actual waffles, like normal waffles with butter and syrup on them.
Otherwise I love either cheddar or pepper jack cheese for using as a bun for burgers or as a substitute for bread.
I also love smoked meat, and pork is my favorite to throw on the old smoker. Pork belly rocks!
My son Josh and I smoke meat all the time for family barbecues and parties on a homemade smoker that my Dad helped me make. Josh decided a week ago to finally order his own smoker for at his house. He just sent me these pictures a couple hours ago. He has his new smoker ready to go!
I think you can tell by this picture that he loves his new PitBoss smoker grill. lol
You know what they say, once you smoke meat, you will never go back!
It truly becomes an addiction.
If you have any questions or comments, don’t hesitate to post them in the comments section below or just say hello 🙂 I would love to hear from you!
Have a beautiful day, and remember to always be kind and good to others.
Sincerely,
