As you will come to realize through reading all of my ramblings, I am about 90% carnivore.

Meaning, my diet consist of 90% whole animal products, and 10% vegetables mostly.

I started eating this way about a year and a half ago, because of some major health problems.

Mainly because in 2008 I herniated two disc in my back, and ended up having surgery on both disc.

The surgery failed, and I ended up with my legs going numb all of the time. I could not walk more than 5 to 10 minutes before my legs would give out.

I had severe back, hip and leg pain. It got to the point where my hip felt like it was broke even though it wasn’t.

The worst pain was at night when I would go to bed, that is when it would really kick in, it was unbearable!

If someone would have cut my legs off in those moments, let me tell you I would have been extremely grateful, it was that bad!

So I basically lived with this pain up until the beginning of 2020.

This is when my youngest son, John Weberg turned me on to a carnivore group in Facebook.

He told me he had read how a lot of people who were living in severe pain were reporting in this group that there pain would go away by changing their diet to eating carnivore.

At first I did not believe it, but I joined the group anyways and starting reading..I thought what could it hurt to check it out.

The group when I joined it, already had over 25,000 members, and it was filled full of peoples testimonials.

Not only were many people living pain free for the first time by eating this way, but many other people had many other ailments totally disappear.

I was still hesitant though, as it has been ingrained in me, that eating too much meat is bad for you and it will kill you..

Well after seeing all the people in the Facebook group that had such health turnarounds in their lives eating this way, I gave it a shot anyways.

I also bought this bookThe Carnivore Diet-By Doctor Shawn Baker. This really helped me understand the myths we have been taught surrounding eating a mostly animal based diet. I highly recommend reading it.

About 30 days in or so eating this way, I noticed I was walking without crouching down anymore to relieve the numbness in my legs.

As I kept eating this way, more and more of my pain literally just went away.

I noticed many other things improve as well.

So here I am over a year later, loving the health improvements in my life, no longer dreading having to live with the pain the rest of my life..

Which is what doctors told me, I would have to deal with it, or attempt more surgeries.

So thankful my son turned me on to this.

Yes, I still drink beer, was not giving that up..hell no! lol

I only eat a few vegetables and sauces with my meat here and there..Mostly just eat straight up meat, and it has been a Godsend!

So I am warning you, if you subscribe to my blog or email list, your going to see some #foodporn. lol
